South Regional TAFE is offering an intensive horticultural course at Muresk Institute. The course will provide delegates with the skills and knowledge required in the horticultural industry, including;

  • establishing horticultural crops and implementing nutrition programs;
  • controlling plants, pests and disorders;
  • operating and maintaining chainsaws; and
  • controlling weeds.

On completion of this course students receive a Statement of Attainment for the five nationally recognised units of competency in which they are deemed competent. This course can be studied on its own, or the units can be used towards a Certificate III in Agriculture.

Suitable for:
  • those working towards their Certificate III in Agriculture; and
  • those employed or looking to be employed in the horticulture industry.
