Here at Muresk, our core focus is to work closely with our partners to bring the best industry driven training opportunities, knowledge and skills to Western Australia.
A working farm situated on 898 hectares of farming land in the Avon Valley, just 10 kilometres southwest of Northam on the eastern fringe of the Darling Range and the western fringe of the central Wheatbelt, Muresk offers contemporary learning spaces and the latest innovations in agricultural technology and sustainability practices.

Training delivery
In addition to the hands on learning that can be delivered on our 898 ha working farm setting at Muresk with access to machinery, livestock, yards and open areas — there are also formal training facilities available to suit a range of requirements.
The training facilities include lecture theatres, science labs, an auditorium, computer labs, flexible-space training rooms, outdoor areas, an industry standard shearing shed, and the Agricultural Machinery Technology Centre. Accommodation options are also available for students who would like to stay at Muresk.

Need to get your team off site to stimulate new ideas, reduce the daily distractions and promote a new sense of focus? Want to hold a lecture, or showcase your industry or products?
We have a range of indoor and outdoor facilities for small and large formal or casual events where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and lovely rural setting for team building sessions, lectures, showcasing industry products or general events.
Accommodation and catering are also available.
The farm
Muresk is a fully working and productive agricultural and livestock farm. We have over 50 paddocks across 805 hectares of grazeable land and 506 hectares a of croppable land, as well as extensive machinery and specialist buildings including an industry standard shearing shed.
School visits
Muresk farm is perfect for hands on demonstrations, with options available to offer students a unique learning experience and insights into career opportunities in the agricultural industry.
Research and development
Muresk is actively involved in supporting WA's agricultural industry through research and development activities such as breeding programs, agronomy trials, livestock monitoring and desalination projects in collaboration with industry, universities and government.
This helps to ensure we are keeping up to date with all the latest technology and innovations for the agricultural industry.
Our facilities include two science laboratories that can be used for research and/or training for a range of areas including science, technology, and animal care.

Muresk is located in WA's Avon Valley — 16 minutes from Northam, one hour from Midland, and 1.5 hours from the Perth CBD.
