Training
In addition to the hands on training that can be delivered on our 898 hectare working farm with access to machinery, livestock, yards and open areas; we also have formal training facilities available to suit a range of requirements including:
- three fully equipped modern lecture theatres, with seating for 45, 110 or 145 people;
- six traditional classroom style rooms seating 15–35 people;
- four computer labs, each with 20 places;
- two laboratory style rooms for research; specialist training; and plant, soil and animal science;
- flexible layout rooms for training or activities;
- outdoor settings for breakout and small groupwork; and
- a theatre style hall with stage, seating up to 350 people.
Events, conferences, lectures, forums and presentations
Looking for somewhere different? Need to get your team off site to stimulate new ideas, reduce the daily distractions and promote a new sense of focus? Want to hold a lecture, or showcase your industry or products?
We have a range of indoor and outdoor facilities for small and large formal or casual events. These facilities have been used previously for team building sessions, lectures, showcasing industry products or general events. Our refurbished conference centre offers a large auditorium and two large lecture theatres boasting state-of-the-art audio visual technology, wireless internet, interactive eBoards and accompanying break out rooms. A business centre with computers and printer is also available, and the main rooms are equipped with a lectern and microphone.
We also host school visits and career days.

Dempster Homestead
The Dempster Homestead houses a gracious federation style dining room full of country charm, with polished floors and antique furniture and a beautiful outlook across the property.
Three separate dining areas are available within the homestead, accommodating up to 110 people.

The pavilion
Overlooking the football oval and the rolling hills beyond, the Pavilion is an ideal space for a variety of events from sports and competitions through to industry and product showcases.
The pavilion features two function areas, a shady verandah, kitchen and outdoor terraced seating.

Research facilities
We are a unique facility in that we offer a location for organisations looking to enhance their research capabilities. Our farming land is available for research use.
Over the years, our land has been utilised for Merino Breeder’s Sire Evaluation Program; animal nutrition and sensor trials; soil management trials; herbicide and foliar disease diagnostics; fertiliser trials; stubble management trials; national variety trials; crop rotation trials; and much more.
Catering
Muresk offers a full catering service, with commercial kitchen facilities. Whether you're looking for a formal sit-down dinner for your celebrations, nibbles for a networking day or sundowner, barbecue and salads, buffet style casual dining or even just tea, coffee and snacks.
