Muresk Institute Open Day – Save the date

22 March 2016

We are preparing for a day of activity, fun and discovery as part of our annual open day.

Held on Saturday 28 May, the event will showcase new techniques, technologies and careers in the agricultural sector, and will be officially opened by Western Australia’s Governor, Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AO.

A full program of events has been planned, with demonstrations focusing on drone technology, quad bikes, low stress livestock handling, and working sheep dogs. Renowned butcher and Perth businessman Vince Garreffa will also be on hand to show the finer art of butchery. In addition, there will be displays of machinery, equipment and livestock, as well as a host of presentations by agricultural industry experts.

Visitors can also learn about careers that are available within the agriculture and agribusiness sectors, while gaining more information about the wide range of training programs delivered at Muresk Institute. This includes an annual program of short courses.
