Basic Boomspray Course

​In this one day course you will learn how to prepare and operate chemical application machinery and equipment.
Students will learn to:
• Interpret written information from a range of sources
• Identify key information about the workplace operations of Boomsprays
• Document chemical application
• Basic machinery use
• How to complete operational records and report malfunctions, faults, irregular performance or damage
• Estimate, calculate and record quantities of liquid and/or granular chemicals
• Identify correct tyre pressure
• Recognise and follow workplace requirements, including the safety requirements associated with your own role and area of responsibility

Suitable for:

​New entrants to the industry, seasonal workers or vocational students.
