AE403 Livestock Handling skill set

AHCLSK331 Comply with industry animal welfare requirements
AHCLSK205 Handle livestock using basic techniques (Level 2)
AHCLSK308 Identify and draft livestock
AHCLSK301 Administer medication to livestock

​These units give new and existing workers in the agricultural industry, the skills and knowledge to safely undertake livestock tasks. Participants will gain the knowledge to handle livestock and comply with industry animal welfare requirements.

Suitable for:

​People wanting to enter the agricultural industry to gain employment or additional livestock handling skills. The course provides school leavers, career changers, and people wanting to update skills with the opportunity to learn and practice new livestock handling skills for managing cattle and sheep.
