Safety and Health Representative course

BSBWHS302 – Apply knowledge of WHS legislation in the workplace
BSBWHS303 – Participate in WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control
BSBWHS304 – Participate effectively in WHS communication and consultation processes
BSBWHS305 – Contribute to WHS issue resolution
BSBWHS406 – Assist with responding to incidents

This introductory Health and Safety Representative training course has been developed for newly elected safety and health representatives who have not previously attended approved safety and health representative’s training.

This course is accredited by the Western Australian Commission for Occupational Safety and Health in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (WA) 1984 and the Mines Safety and Inspection Act (WA) 1994. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a Statement of Attainment for completed units.

This course is also listed as an entry path for those wishing to undertake the Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
