​This program is aimed at emerging leaders in agricultural careers/farming enterprises and professionals seeking to expand their career options and skills.

Units of competency will be delivered by industry experts over three blocks focusing on the following topics:

  • developing self and developing others;
  • recruitment, selection and agribusiness innovation; and
  • developing agribusiness innovation initiatives.

Upon attaining this qualification emerging leaders will demonstrate highly developed leadership and management skills, the ability to seek innovation, embrace new technologies and develop their chosen business to reach its potential within the industry.

On completion of this program participants will exit with a Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB51915).

For those individuals who would like to participate in individual blocks rather than the whole program, there is the option to attend/enrol in each independently:

  • Block one: Developing self and developing others (19-22 February 2019)
  • Block two: Recruitment, selection and agribusiness innovation (19-22 March 2019)
  • Block three: Developing agribusiness innovation initiatives (11-14 June 2019)

Fees:

  • $3,755 (full qualification); or
  • $1,385 (each individual block).

Please note a $500 deposit is required by 31 December 2018.

Participants who do not complete the training program will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for those units of competency successfully completed.  No pro-rata refund applies.

  • ​High level language, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exposure to agribusiness technology an advantage
  • Business/management/supervisory/team leader experience

Special accommodation packages are available for ELATE students:

  • $398.50 per person for accommodation and meals for the entire program (12 nights); or
  • $147.50 per person for accommodation and meals per block (four nights).
