OPEN FOR THE WAFARMERS BOOTCAMP TO EMPLOYMENT
Are you a young person interested in agricultural technology? Are you willing to live and work in a regional town?
The farm mechanisation industry is calling out for enthusiastic, driven individuals to skill up and join the workforce. The WAFarmers Bootcamp to Employment provides the perfect opportunity to kick start your career in the Ag-tech machinery industry.
Developed in partnership between WAFarmers, Farm Machinery and Industry Association of WA, and Muresk Institute, the Bootcamp is a three-day program providing an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of and/or aptitude for precision control technology, drones, data management, and other aspects of the industry.
Bootcamp also includes practical learning sessions with industry experts and builds vital employability skills such as workplace communication, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative, and preparing a professional CV.
Kicking off at the Muresk Institute in Northam on 13 July 2021, the Bootcamp will conclude on 15 July and provide you with the opportunity to meet with and pitch yourself to prospective employers who may be looking for apprentices and trainees. You will be given guidance on presentation and confidence to assist in this process.
